Robert Fireman is an attorney, entrepreneur, and builder of new and innovative businesses across a variety of industries. Mr. Fireman has been instrumental in the development of the Company's business, strategic planning, and management team.
Vice President, Investor Relations
Steve is an experienced Investor Relations professional with nearly 20 years experience as a sell-side analyst and lead investor relations professional. Prior to MariMed, Steve was the Vice President of Investor Relations for Acreage Holdings, a leading U.S. Multi-State Operator in the cannabis industry, which he took public in November 2018. Before Acreage, he was also head of investor relations at iconic retail companies Dick’s Sporting Goods and Panera Bread Company. In 2017, Steve was recognized by Institutional Investors magazine as “Best Investor Relations Professional,” and “Best Investor Relations Program.” Prior to his investor relations roles, Steve was an award-winning sell side analyst for nearly 10 years at ITG, Stifel Nicolaus, and A.G. Edwards. In 2008 he was recognized by the Wall Street Journal as “Best on The Street” Restaurants and “Best Stock Picker – Restaurants” by The Financial Times.
Before his Wall Street career, Steve was a Director of Finance at Procter & Gamble for five years, and in a previous life, he served in the United States Navy for 14 years as a Surface Warfare Officer. Steve received a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD

Jon Levine is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of management experience in finance, HR, real estate development, and acquisitions. Mr. Levine worked for over 17 years for Equity Industrial Partners Corp. in MA, a commercial real estate development company that has managed and sold over 50 million square feet in the US.
Chief Communications Officer
Mr. Schacter brings a wealth of communications experience to MariMed, having counseled companies including Facebook, McDonald's, Microsoft, Spotify, and many others as a senior executive at leading PR agencies. He most recently served for three years as head of communications for another leading multi-state cannabis operator, Acreage Holdings. Prior to entering the cannabis industry, Mr. Schacter earned a Brandweek Marketer of the Year award for creating and promoting a portfolio of licensed celebrity and athlete brands for apparel retailer Steve & Barry's. Earlier in his career, he led the communications department for SFX/Clear Channel Entertainment (subsequently rebranded as Live Nation).
Mr. Schacter received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland at College Park.
