Edward Gildea

Edward Gildea has been the Chairman of the Board since 2023 and a director since 2013. He contributes expertise in areas of mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, funding, business development and executive leadership. He is a Partner in the law firm Fisher Broyles LLP and he has many years of experience as a board member. Mr. Gildea was the CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board Of Directors of Converted Organics Inc., a publicly held company that manufactures organic fertilizer by recycling food waste, from January 2006 until June 2013. He was also a lawyer for, and COO of, QualityMetric Inc. (healthcare technology) from 2000-2005 and Grolier Incorporated (publishing) from 1980-1989. He spent 10 years at the Kellogg Company (1990-2000) as their vice president of legal where he managed and supervised a legal team responsible for executing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He received his undergraduate degree from The College of the Holy Cross and his law degree from Suffolk University.

Eva Selhub, M.D.

Eva Selhub, M.D. is a board-certified physician, speaker, scientist, executive leadership and performance coach, consultant in the field ofcorporate wellness and resilience, and an author. From August 1997 to November 2016, she served as an instructor and lecturer of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Duringthis period, Dr. Selhub simultaneously held other positions at Tufts University, Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as other professional healthcare/medical organizations.From October 2006 to October 2017, she was a senior physician at Benson Henry Institute for Mind/Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. From August 2016 topresent, she has been an adjunct scientist of neuroscience at Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, one of six human nutritionresearch centers supported by the United States Department of Agriculture. Dr. Selhub received a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology from the Tufts University in 1989and her M.D. degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Selhub’s professional experience and background as a physician, scientist and in mind-bodymedicine will allow her to make valuable contributions to the Board and provide expertise to serve as one of our directors.

David Allen

Mr. Allen brings over 22 years of experience as a Director, CEO and CFO of public companies. Presently he serves as Chief Financial Officer of True Drinks Holdings, Inc. From September 2018 to May 2019, Mr. Allen served as Chief Financial Officer of Iconic Brands, Inc. Prior to that, from December 2014 to January 2018, Mr. Allen served as the Chief Financial Officer of WPCS International, Inc. From 2007 to 2013, Mr. Allen served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Administration at Converted Organics, Inc., after serving as audit committee chair on the board of Converted Organics. Mr. Allen is currently an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), a position he has held since 2017. For the 12 years prior, he was an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at SCSU and Western Connecticut State University. Mr. Allen is a licensed CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Taxation from Bentley College.

Jon Levine

Mr. Jon Levine has been Chief Executive Officer and President of MariMed, Inc. since 2023, and a director of the company since 2016. He co-founded the company with his dear friend and “brother” Bob Fireman, who passed away in 2022 as Chairman of the Board and CEO. Prior to his current role, Mr. Levine served as MariMed’s President since 2022, and before that as Chief Financial Officer since it's inception in 2012. A seasoned executive with over 10 years of experience in the legal cannabis industry, he brings a broad range of operations, financial services, real estate transaction, and healthcare management experience to his role navigating the company through its growth and expansion. Through his leadership, MariMed has become one of the strongest and financially sound companies in cannabis. Prior to entering the industry, Mr. Levine worked for 13 years in credit management and as a controller in the banking and manufacturing industries. Additionally, he has over 19 years of experience in commercial real estate development, management, and financial services.

Kathleen Tucker

Ms. Tucker has more than 25 years of senior executive experience in consumer marketing, product development, operations, finance, and technology with both iconic U.S. brands and cannabis companies. Since 2016, she has served as the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Presence Enterprises, LLC, a distributor of CBD-infused health and wellness supplements and products. From 2015 to 2016, she was the Chief Operating Officer of one of MariMed’s operating subsidiaries and for the two years prior, she served as the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of 3C Compassionate Care Center, a medical cannabis dispensary. Earlier in her career, Ms. Tucker gained valuable experience as Vice President and Head of Engineering at worldwide floral company FTD, Inc. and as Senior Vice President, Global Application Development at VISA, Inc.

Ms. Tucker received an M.B.A. and B.S. degree in Operations and Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. She is the fifth member of the MariMed Board of Directors and its fourth independent director.
